2020 ESL One Rio

ESL will host their first major in Brazil, Rio. The prize pool of this major is once again $1,000,000 and the 24-team format introduced at the previous Major will be used again.

The New Challengers Stage: 16 Team Swiss System Format

Round 1 to 4 matches are best-of-one
Round 5 matches are best-of-three
The Buchholz system is used to seed matches from Rounds 3 to 5.
