2023 Lima Major

The 2023 Lima Major is the very first major of the year 2023. This major also serves as the first-ever DPC Major held in South America. This tournament will be held in Lima, Peru from February 22 to March 5, 2023, and will be organized by 4D Esports and Epulze. Since this is a Dota Major, with a hefty prize pool of $500,000 and 1,900 DPC points, the best of the best teams from around the world will duke it out to grab a share of the prize and reign as the first 2023 Major champions.

Group stage is composed of eighteen teams divided into two groups of nine teams each playing in a single round-robin format and all matches are played in the best-of-two series. The top four teams will advance to the upper-bracket of the playoffs, while 5th to 6th place teams will be seeded in the lower-bracket. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs will be played in a double-elimination format where matches are played in a best-of-three series, except for the Grand Final which is a best-of-five.
