With the free agency day kicking off, 100 Thieves have announced that they will be adding Closer and FBI to their main League of Legends roster.
100 Thieves adding Closer and FBI – Who are they?
Both players have had a short career so far, and have been playing for the Golden Guardians in the 2020 season. With Golden Guardians they ended both Spring and Summer Splits in 5-6th. Closer will be replacing Contractz in the Jungle, whereas FBI will be joining 100 Thieves as their ADC.
Closer
Turkish player Can “Closer” Çelik has been playing League of Legends professionally since 2017 when he joined Beşiktaş e-Sports Club. Since then he has played with 2 other rosters, namely: Royal Youth and Golden Guardians. Closer’s best showing was at the 2019 World Championship, where he placed 17th-20th with his team Royal Youth.
FBI
Victor “FBI” Huang on the other hand has had quite the number of teams under his belt. He has represented teams in the OCE region (SIN Gaming, ORDER, Bombers) and has recently made the switch to the LCS to represent the Golden Guardians for the 2019/20 season.
This Jungle & ADC swap will certainly impact the 100 Thieves LoL roster in a positive manner. 100 Thieves finished the Spring Split in 5th-6th and the Summer Split in 7th-8th, which means that this roster change will definitely benefit the team.
