100 Thieves parting ways with Ceice and Elevate

Fortnite

17 Feb 2021

American Esports organization 100 Thieves has just announced that they are parting ways with 2 of their main Fortnite players, Ceice and Elevate. Here is their announcement:

100 Thieves parting ways with Ceice and Elevate – Why?

A clear reason as to why they are parting ways has not been made. But with Ceice looking for another team to represent in Fortnite, and Elevate trying to make it in VALORANT, it only seemed natural for 100 Thieves to execute this move. These 2 pros first joined 100 Thieves back in 2019 and managed to get 3rd in the Fortnite World Cup duos tournament a few months later.

Elevate has now retired from professional Fortnite with hopes of landing a career in VALORANT. He kicked off his career when he joined Beastcoast, but was shortly moved to the bench by the end of 2020. Now he has joined Sedated with interest in grabbing solid results in the VALORANT Champions Tour.

This is what Elevate had to say about him departing the team:

“Words can not describe how thankful I am for my time on 100 Thieves. I grew as a player, personality, and friend all with the help of my second family. Goodbyes are always hard but I’ll always still be around. Much love family ❤️“

It’s going to be exciting to see where these two eventually land in the near future. We’re sure that with the experience they’ve got, and all the things they learned at 100 Thieves, Ceice and Elevate have a high chance of coming back better than ever.
