Some esports roster changes are shocking. Accordingly, this could easily be said for the 100 Thieves VALORANT Roster 2022. Following only a couple games into the VCT 2022 NA season, changes are already here. Read on as we provide all the details below!
100 Thieves VALORANT Roster 2022 – Quick Change
Specifically, back in December before this upcoming season, the 100 Thieves VALORANT roster picked up the likes of Hunter “BabyJ” Schline and Adam “ec1s” Eccles, with high hopes. Both boasting strong individual talent, they hoped to challenge North America.
Yet, just like that, both players have been dropped already.
This comes after losing to The Guard, with the final match ending in an embarrassing 13-0 scoreline which the community ridiculed. Accordingly, a few hours later the announcement was made.
Instead of these players, for the remainder of the VCT 2022 NA Challengers 1 event, two stand-in loan players have been signed:
- Spencer “Hiko” Martin
- Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
- Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
- Sean “bang” Bezerra (loan from TSM)
- Noah “jcStani” Smith (loan from Pioneers)
Let’s see if 100 Thieves still have a chance, though it doesn’t look likely they’ll place high at the current event, lower than their standard:
- 3rd @ VCT 2021 NA Last Chance Qualifier
- 3-4th @ VCT 2021 Stage 3 Masters Berlin
- 2nd @ VCT 2021 NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs
- 3rd @ VCT 2021 NA Stage 3 Challengers 1
- 5-6th @ VCT 2021 Stage 2 Challengers Finals
