It has been made public that Aleksib, Valde & M4ntuu have opted to renew their contracts with European organization OG till the year 2022. Here is their announcement:
What does this mean?
This contract renewal from these 3 individuals indicates OG’s commitment to CS:GO as an esport. Despite not having much success in their first year of competition, the organization realizes that it’s a long process to reach the top. And this is exactly why they have chosen to keep this trio till at least 2022.
This is what Charlie Debs, COO of OG esports, said about the renewal of the contracts:
“First off, I want to thank Seb who put together an amazing roster back in the end of 2019. Even in a game that isn’t his, he was able to identify great individuals and competitors, and greeted us with 5 amazing profiles to initiate OG CS:GO. It is now with great pride and happiness that we prolong until the end of 2022 with Aleksi, Valdemar and Mateusz as the core of the project. High potential, stability, trust, friendship, fun.. We are convinced that all the elements are gathered to keep growing towards our goal: the top of the Counter-Strike Scene. Dream OG!”
Aleksib, Valde, M4ntuu, renew contracts with OG till 2022 – Why is this big news?
The organization established their CS:GO division back in December of 2019 and has recently finalized its second version of the lineup. This lineup features 2 new players in Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan. Together with the founding trio, this team has everything to become one of the world’s best for years to come.Â
Their next competition is the third season of Flashpoint which is due in May.
