Kicking off on the 19th June, the largest Arena of Valor event of the year is still kicking. Indeed, the AoV World Cup 2021 is less than 10 days from crowning a champion and we cannot wait. With $500,000 still on the line, read on for a quick update on how the event is progressing.
AoV World Cup 2021 – 4 Teams Left
So far, at the event, the Group Stage has concluded and the Knockout has kicked off. Running it back to the Group Stage, find the outcome below:
In the beginning, there were 16 teams. Heading into the Knockout, 8 remained. At this very point in time, only four remain, primed for the Upper Bracket Finals and Lower Bracket SemiFinals. Take a look at the following bracket below:
- Upper Bracket Finals (BO7) – TPE Most Outstanding Player vs TH dtac Talon Esports
- Lower Bracket Semifinals (BO7) – TPE MAD Team vs VN Saigon Phantom
In terms of predictions, it’s very tough to say as nobody has looked too dominant across the entire Knockout Stage. However, it’s fair to say that the teams coming from the Upper Bracket have a better chance of winning due to a superior record overall.
