This past weekend, the Arlington Dota 2 Major concluded. Indeed, as the last stop for the Dota Pro Circuit, teams gave it there all. Accordingly, Team Spirit managed to write history again – read on to learn more below!
Arlington Dota 2 Major Recap – Awesome Storylines
Naturally, if we rewind to last year, we saw the likes of The International 2021. Furthermore, back then an incredible storyline took place.
For those unaware, the likes of Team Spirit managed to stun the world by claiming the International title by beating PSG.LGD.
And just like that, Arlington Dota 2 Major saw the same storyline once again! Coming in as a favourite this time, here’s the epic run that Team Spirit went on:
- Outsiders vs Team Spirit (1-2)
- Team Spirit vs Team Aster (2-0)
- PSG.LGD vs Team Spirit (2-0)
Once kicked down by PSG.LGD in the Upper Bracket Final, Team Spirit had to bounce back.
Jumping back with a 2-1 victory over Team Aster in the Lower Bracket Final, the stage was set for the Grand Final. Although PSG.LGD were the favourites, Team Spirit managed to rewrite the script and managed to win 3-1.
