Relatively new to the LEC, Astralis has been struggling. Accordingly, this statement follows another disappointing finish at the Spring Split. Indeed, that’s why we’re not surprised at the change hitting the Astralis LoL Roster 2022 – read on to learn more!
Astralis LoL Roster 2022 – Needed Change
Specifically, we’re referring to the recent 10th place finish at the LEC Spring 2022 event. Concluding last weekend, they placed last with a very poor 3-15 record. Following this disappointing event, the following players have announced their departure from the roster:
- Matti “WhiteKnight” Sormunen – Top
- Hampus “promisq” Abrahamsson – Support
This is definitely a move forward. With both signed back at the end of 2020, the team can try build new. Specifically, the following roster is as follows:
- Nikolay “Zanzarah” Akatov – Jungler
- Oliver “Dajor” Ryppa – Mid
- Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup – Bot
Considering their Academy roster is full of players, it’s most likely that the organization sources players from here (Astralis Talent). Otherwise, the transfer market is great now post-event.
Regardless, they’ll need to start working towards better results. Will this year be just like last year?
