Esports production company Beyond The Summit have revealed they are returning to Dota 2 with their Pro Series Season 6. Here is their announcement:
Beyond The Summit Pro Series Season 6 Announced – What is it?
The event will be split between 2 regions, Americas & South East Asia. Each region will consist of the same format for the tournament. It will all start with the group stage, set in a single round-robin where all matches are best of 2. At the end of the group stage, the top 4 teams qualify to the playoffs, whereas the bottom once are sent to the lower bracket of playoffs.
Then in the playoffs stage, teams will face off each other in a double-elimination bracket. Here, all matches are played in a best of 3, and the grand final is a best of 5.

Prize Pool
The 6th Season of the BTS Pro Series will consist of a $100,000 USD total in prize pool. This will split between both regions, having $50,000 USD each. This is how the prize money will be distributed:
- 1st – $20,000
- 2nd – $12,000
- 3rd – $7,000
- 4th – $4,000
- 5th-6th – $2,250
- 7th-8th – $1,250
