Accordingly, we had $425,000 on the line with the top 8 teams in the world all offline at the Copenhagen Royal Arena. Indeed, here’s how the final standings looked like:

  1. Natus Vincere
  2. Team Vitality
  3. Astralis
  4. Heroic
  5. FaZe Clan
  6. Team Liquid
  7. BIG
  8. Ninjas in Pyjamas

And with that out of the way, we can now follow the story of Natus Vincere.

Kicking things off in the Quarterfinals against BIG with a 2-0 sweep, they’d only lose two maps at the entire event. Accordingly, Heroic would manage to pull back a map against Na’Vi, though the Ukranians would still prevail.

Booked with a ticket against their main competition at the event. Team Vitality fell short with a 2-0 scoreline at the Finals. With a rematch in the Grand Final, Team Vitality tried to keep it close, by beating Na’Vi on their best map – Nuke.

However, “s1mple” and Natus Vincere would stand tall and they prevailed as champions once again. Let’s see if they can do it again at the BLAST World Finals!
