BLAST Premier Fall Qualifiers – Details
These qualifiers will take place between July and September. BLAST have opened up their qualifying series to over 60 countries, including China as well as Brazil to take part. These teams from across five continents will battle it all out for the $25,000 participation fee at the Fall Showdown.ย
A total of 64 teams will directly involve themselves across 8 events in the finals of the Qualifying series. Here, the teams directly invited and teams from open qualifiers open to hundreds of teams in each region.
These Fall Qualifiers will be available for regions like: Nordics, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, China, Iberia, North America and the Middle East.
Andrew Haworth, Commissioner for BLAST Premier, said the following:
โThe Spring Qualifiers were a huge success and we are delighted to be able to build on that by expanding into new regions, offering more places in the Fall Showdown and investing $200,000 via participation fees into these teamsโ long-term futures. We approached the 2021 season with the aim of creating more opportunity and investment into regions around the world โ we feel we are on the right path to achieving that and look forward to seeing another set of qualifiers packed with big upsets and brilliant CS:GO.โ
