Well, due to Gambit’s recent win in the BLAST Premier Spring Finals, they’ve received an automatic spot at the World Final. On the other hand, Heroic got their spot from winning the 13th season of ESL Pro League.
Event details
The World Finals is one of the most anticipated CS:GO events for 2021. It will feature a $1,000,000 USD prize pool, and it will consist of only the best teams in the world. In fact, the qualifications for the spot are acquired through wins at big events. Such as: BLAST Premier Fall Finals, EPL S14, as well as the PGL Stockholm Major. Three spots will also be given toward the top 3 teams in the Global Leaderboard.
The BLAST Premier World Final 2021 will take place between the 14th and 19th of December. Meaning that it’s going to be quite a long time till we actually come to see this event into fruition.
