Call of Duty 2023 Delayed – Good or Bad News?
Ever since Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard earlier this year, the community suspected changes. We’re referring to the esports of Overwatch and Call of Duty. Both are esports we feature on esportsguide.
Indeed, both could definitely use some changing.
Anyways, what could delaying the next title by a year mean? Well, this could easily improve the esports experience for Call of Duty Vanguard.
In addition, further time could help the next title be hugely impressive. Indeed, yearly new titles are not required for a healthy esport. This is seen in League of Legends and Dota.
Yet, there is a flipside. Indeed, Activision Blizzard needs to ensure regular updates to the current title to keep things fresh. Otherwise, we might see what happened to Overwatch. Specifically, let’s hope to avoid a very long off-season with no competition.
We’ll be sure to stay tuned for more official news! Notably, right now only reports and rumours are present. We look forward to an official press release.
