The map creators behind Tuscan, Catfood and Brute, have released a short video touring around the map, showing a more refined look of the classic map. Here below is the video showcasing Tuscan’s new look:
As you can see in the above video, there’s still a lot of work to be done, but at least, the creators have made it clear that they are making some progress on Tuscan.
Community Reaction
The majority of people that have seen the trailer, reacted in a positive manner. And that is definitely a good sign for the map creators, as it suggests that they are going down the correct path in redesigning Tuscan.
How will this impact the current map pool?
Will this new version of the map make it into the current Active Duty Map Pool? I don’t think so. While they’re open to new and creative maps, they aren’t too keen on shaking up the current map pool. Seeing the newest version of Tuscan reaching completion is definitely great to see, and might help Valve update the map pool with some fresh changes.
Tuscan’s new look – Opinion
I for one, am very excited to see the redesigned classic map. Hopefully, Valve finds the map suitable for competitive play and replace it with one of the least played maps in the current map pool.
Yesterday, Dignitas announced that they are rebranding fully, and changing their appearance. This is what their new logo looks like:
Dignitas rebranding – Origins
Many Dignitas fans felt nostalgic after seeing the newest rebrand due to the original logo being so iconic. When they first announced their rebrand back in 2018, many felt shook and outraged that they would change such a logo. Nevertheless, the Owl was loved by huge fans of Dignitas, and overtime it felt like it truly was a part of Dignitas.
One of the best parts of this rebrand is that Dignitas are choosing to keep their Black and Yellow layout.
With this rebranding, Dignitas paid homage to the Evil Geniuses rebranding, where they went into detail on what their logo meant.
Credits: Dignitas
This is what their management had to say about the rebranding:
“The return of Digi is a thrilling moment for the entire Dignitas organization and one we’re confident will excite our current fan base while reengaging idle fans that have long awaited the return of a legendary icon. The reimagined Digi is an original emotive mascot to the world of gaming and esports that will stimulate storytelling and emotional narratives, while becoming an asset unique solely to Dignitas.“
Here in 2021, we’re seeing a lot of teams and organizations rebranding, which is actually for the better. A new year means new beginnings, and we cannot wait for what Dignitas has in store for us this year.

Brazilian organization MiBR will be parting ways with its temporary roster after the 3-month contract agreement. This information was revealed by their now former coach, Raphael “Cogu” Camargo a few hours ago.
Today was my last day at MIBR. I would like to say that i will stay on CSGO and looking forward to compete on the high level again. I have a stable and set project with 6 players, any org interested can get in touch with me. RT aprecciated
After this overhaul, MiBR were left with just Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe and Alencar “trk” Rossato. They decided to sign Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, and acquire Leonardo “leo_drk” de Oliveira and Vinicius “v$m” Moreira on loan from Sharks Esports and DETONA Gaming, respectively. At least, with this roster, they were able to compete for the last few events of the year.
What’s next for Cogu and his squad?
According to his statement, he has “a stable and set project with 6 players” that will benefit any organization that is willing to pick them up. We’ve already seen what this squad is capable of in the past few months of them representing MiBR. Here are some of their best achievements under MiBR:
It will be interesting to see what MiBR have planned for 2021, but until then, be sure to keep yourself updated on www.esportsguide.com for all your important esports news!
Amid the recent drama that occurred amongst the CS:GO community regarding Ence and their management, it has been announced that SuNny has been benched from the Ence CS:GO lineup. Here is their announcement:
Miikka @suNnycsgo Kemppi is benched in mutual agreement and been given the permission to pursue new opportunities.
The process to restructure and rebuild our CS:GO team is ongoing and we will further communicate after the Christmas holidays
The reason for this roster move wasn’t clear in the announcement; however, it has been made crystal clear that this was a mutual understanding between both parties. After the horrible management of the Ence roster, this move was inevitable. Former ex-Ence players, Sergej, xSeven and SuNny have all expressed their feelings toward the organisation and certain players, and it is very easy to know that something was off.
so far everything in this live is truth but not the whole truth and people deserve it now or never https://t.co/dEUNljwYFj
Due to this, Miikka “SuNny” Kemppi has been allowed to look for new teams that would like to sign him for the 2021 season. There have not been any rumours as to where SuNny might land with, but we shouldn’t count out the possibility of him joining his former roster, Mousesports. Will he re-sign with his former team, or will we see Miikka with a new squad headinginto 2021?

2020 might have been a terrible year for many; however, G2 has arguably had its best year ever as a European esports organization, and here’s why.
League Of Legends
This year, the team managed to win both Spring and Summer Splits in the usual dominant fashion. Not only that, but they continued to show dominance throughout the World Championship Group Stage. Unfortunately for them, they were not able to replicate the success they had in 2019, reaching the Grand Finals, but losing in the Semifinals versus Damwon Gaming was still a solid achievement. That’s not all… With Perkz departing the roster and moving on to North America to represent Cloud9, G2 had an open slot in the ADC position. And guess who they got? The missing puzzle piece that has been itching to be fitted… Rekkles. If this year was good for G2, we cannot wait to see what they have in store for 2021.

G2’s Successful 2020 – CS:GO
G2’sCS:GO team didn’t have that bad of a year either, placing highly in most European tournaments. Most notably, 1st-3rd at the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season, 2nd at IEM XIV – World Championship, and a 2nd placing at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe. These wins got the team to 1st place in the HLTV rankings, back in June 15th 2020. But unfortunately this didn’t last long as the notorious Natus Vincere seamlessly took their spot.

In 2020, they also managed to pick up one of Europe’s best players and aimers, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač. So far they haven’t had the best results, but we’re sure that in time, the team will get back to its former glory.
VALORANT
Now onto their most dominant esport this year, VALORANT. The G2 roster was formed back in June with Mixwell as Captain. The team featured former CS:GO players which were either on the verge of retirement or on the verge of Tier 1 CS. So VALORANT’s release came at a perfect opportunity for these 5 individuals. Together, the team won 6 Ignition Series tournaments, and solidified itself as the best roster that Europe has to offer.

Despite their dominance all throughout the year, they did not manage to win out the biggest event of the year, First Strike. Instead, they placed 3rd/4th after failing to secure a victory versus Team Heretics, the winner of First Strike.
G2’s Successful 2020 – Conclusion
To add on to G2’s successful 2020, they’ve also managed to grab something out of the 2020 Esports Awards. The organisation has been crowned with Esports team of the year for their LoL squad, Personality of the year for CEO Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, and many other titles.
Overall, it is without a doubt that G2 has dominated for the most part in 2020, and we are super excited to see what they have lined up for 2021! Be sure to keep yourself updated on www.esportsguide.com to never miss out on any esports news!
Yesterday we had a big announcement from the French organisation and it was about ZywOo re-signing with team Vitality till the year 2024. Here is their announcement:
Vitality ZywOo secured until the end of 2024 🥳🥳
That called for some fancy celebrations in Paris right?
ZywOo re-signing with Vitality till 2024 – Why is it big news?
20-year-old Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut joined the Vitality roster back in late 2018. Everyone knew that he would impact the team in an unbelievable manner. In just 2 years, he has led the team to win many championships and tournaments. Most notably EPICENTER 2019, and BLAST Premier Fall 2020. Solidifying ZywOo’s stay with the team for 4 more years will definitely assure team Vitality’s fans that the team will continue to be successful.
Credits: Dreamhack
In fact, this news was so big to the French community that Paris was filled with holograms all over historic figures.
Vitality ended their 2020 season with a gutting defeat versus Astralis at the IEM Global Challenge event. Despite this, it’s fair to say that Vitality had probably its best year to date, and with their consistent wins throughout 2020, they can only hope to continue dominating Europe in 2021.
Jkaem to reunite with former 100 Thieves teammates – Why?
After 100 Thieves’ exit from CS:GO, Jkaem signed with team Apeks. His contract was 3 years long, but it seems like his contract got bought out by Extremum. If the deal goes through, Extremum will be picking up the former 100 Thieves roster of AZR, Liazz, Gratisfaction, and Jkaem.
Credits: 100 Thieves
As stated in the report above, Jkaem has played with this trio for a very long time. They joined 100 Thieves back in October of 2019 and since then they have had quite a journey. Their best performance was at the StarLadder Berlin Major of 2019, where they managed to place 3rd/4th out of 24 teams. For a team that had been consistently struggling in previous years, this was an enormous achievement.
Here are some of their best results:
3rd/4th at the StarLadder Berlin Major – 8th September 2019 – $70,000
2nd at IEM Beijing – 10th November 2019 – $50,000
2nd at EPL Season 12 NA – 27th September 2020 – $38,000
Who would fill in as a 5th player for the lineup if the deal goes through?
With the recent announcement made by Twistzz (that he is leaving Team Liquid) it would only make sense that he fills in the role that Jks left. Jks was the team’s main star player, insane aim and in-game skill made him unstoppable, and that is exactly what Twistzz is.
Heading into 2021, we have a tonne of esports events on our radar. Accordingly, IEM Katowice 2021 for CS:GOis on our list due to its electric atmosphere. This is not mentioning the StarCraft II and Warcraft III events that take place alongside it. Indeed, a new announcement from the organizers sheds light on the event.
Yes, you saw this coming. IEM Katowice will unfortunately not have its infamous live crowd. Besides that, not much is changing, however, as the Major CS:GOevent will retain the same dates. Besides dates, the event will be played offline in Europe – no questionable online performances here.
Twistzz announces departure from Team Liquid – Why?
In the clip, Twistzz says that it was a mutual decision from both Team Liquid and himself. After looking at the performance and results of their 2020 season, Twistzz has averaged a 1.00 rating. Definitely odd, especially for a player of his caliber. Not only that, but Team Liquid has been in desperate need of a solid leader, and dedicated Awper, and after Nitr0’s exit, the team has been in a constant role struggle.
Who will replace Twistzz?
According to a report made by Rush B Media, Legendary Brazilian Awper FalleN will be joining the Liquid roster as its replacement for Twistzz. FalleN has won 2 Major championships, and has impacted the Counter-Strike community like no other. Here are some of his best achievements:
1st at ESL One: Cologne 2016 – 10th July 2016 – SK Gaming – $500,000
1st at MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016 – 3rd April 2016 – Luminosity – $500,000
2nd at Flashpoint Season 1 – 19th April 2020 – MIBR – $250,000

Twistzz announces departure from Team Liquid – What’s next?
As stated by Twistzz, he does not know what his next step is. Whether it be him retiring from CS:GO and going over to VALORANT, or moving on to another CS:GO team, it is still unclear, but we will certainly be covering it on our website.
I'll comment about my future soon, I hope I bring the NA support where ever I go in EU. I wish all the best to and for my teammates. Happy holidays everyone and stay safe 😊
It’s only been 3 days since the IEM Global Challenge 2020 has started, and we’re already in the playoffs stage. This means that we already have 4 teams eliminated from the tournament, and that 4 others are potential champions. Here is the Current state of the IEM Global Challenge event.
IEM Global Challenge 2020 – Which teams are left?
Group A
In Group A, we had BIG Clan completely dominate their group as they finished in 1st with a 2-0 scoreline. They won 2-1 versus Vitality in their first match, and then 2-0 versus Astralis to get the top spot. As you would’ve guessed, Astralis managed to qualify as well, as they finished in 2nd place. Unfortunately, both Vitality and Complexity have been eliminated from the event as they both lost to BIG and Astralis.

Group B
With regards to group B, we saw an unbelievable performance from Natus Vincere as they cleaned out their group and placed 1st with a 2-0 scoreline, just like BIG. They beat both Furia and Liquid, and are definitely the top dog heading into the playoffs. Team Liquid surprisingly made it past, as they were technically the worst team on paper. However after 2 tough bo3 series versus Heroic and Furia, they managed to clutch out and qualify for the playoffs.
It was very disappointing to see a team like Heroic lose to both Liquid and Furia in the group stage. They are currently placed 4th in the World leaderboard rankings, and were one of the favourites heading into the IEM Global Challenge 2020.
What’s next?
Tomorrow, we’ll be seeing the Semifinal taking place. First up is a match between Natus Vincere and Astralis, which will happen at 16:00 CET. Afterwards, we will be seeing a best of 3 series between Team Liquid and BIG at 19:30 CET.
