Following the player break, Team Liquid are still on the hunt for a fifth player. Accordingly, with the BLAST Premier Fall Groups incoming, they’ve decided to use a stand-in. Read on as we discuss the Team Liquid CS:GO Roster 2022 below!
Team Liquid CS:GO Roster 2022 – A Similar Story
Running from August 19th to 28th, the BLAST Premier Fall Groups is an awesome way for the competition to return to full form. Anyways, sources have it that the likes of Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis will be standing in.
Notably, this is not the first time the player has stood in for the organization – last time around they reached the quarterfinals with an impressive run.
Accordingly, here’s what the active roster looks like heading into the event:
Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis – Stand In From Virtus Pro
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
Keith “NAF” Markovic
Joshua “oSee” Ohm
Nicholas “nitr0″ Cannella
Damian “daps” Steele – Coach
Perhaps with not the highest hopes, this Team Liquid roster is desperate to improve over last season. Indeed, they’ll be hoping to improve over their past placements:
5-6th @ IEM XVII Cologne
7-8th @ IEM XVII Dallas
15-16th @ PGL Antwerp 2022
5-8th @ BLAST Premier Spring American Showdown 2022
Indeed, it’s been a hard fall for G2 Esports CS:GO roster. Accordingly, ever since their second place finish at IEM XVI Katowice, they’ve continued to fail to win internationally. Bearing this in mind, we’re not surprised by the recent announcement concerning the roster.
G2 Esports CS:GO Roster 2022 – Moving Forward
Specifically, the organization is parting ways with Audric “JACKZ” Jug. Having been a pillar to this roster ever since 2018, he’s been a part of many top 3 placings internationally.
However, the one thing this team has struggled with since 2019, is placing first and not second. Consistently finishing second doesn’t seem to be good enough for G2.
Anyways, the following active roster is currently playing for G2:
Nemanja “huNter-” Kovac
Nikola “NiKo” Kovac
Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov
Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
Remy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam – Coach
Considering the fact that CS:GO rostermania is ongoing, the organization has a great chance of finding a fitting replacement.
Notably, the likes of Kenny “kennyS” Schrub sits on the bench – perhaps he gets a shot on the roster?
Regardless of who is signed, they’ll be looking to improve over their past achievements:

Laurentiu “lauNX” Tarlea
Danny “BERRY” Kruger – Coach
Moving forward into the August player break, this is the perfect time to make some changes. Indeed, the team will likely announce new players in the coming weeks.
Regardless of who they sign, they’ll want to improve over their former accomplishments resulting in the change:
17-20th @ Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Cologne
2nd @ ESL Challengers at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 European Qualifier
3-4th @ ESL Challenger DreamHack Valencia 2022
13th @ Elisa Invitational Spring 2022

Overall, the past three years haven’t been kind to Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip. Accordingly, the veteran CS:GO professional has hit a slump recently and just recently, he made an important announcement. Specifically Stewie2K retires CS:GO has made headlines – here’s why!
Stewie2K Retires CS:GO – An Interesting Move
Arguably, “Stewie2K” is one of the most accomplished North American professional CS:GO competitor. Indeed, his history involves incredible runs on teams such as Team Liquid and Cloud9.

1st @ IEM XIV – Chicago
1st @ BLAST Pro Series: Los ANgeles 2019

As a Grand Slam champion, the veteran will forever sit in the history books.
Bearing all this in mind, he’s decided to move on with a new prospect:
Extending his reach to VALORANT apart from CS:GO is also very notable. In the past, former professionals such as Tarik “tarik” Celik have made this move and found huge success.
Remaining with Evil Geniuses, we’re curious to see how his future develops as he moves on to something new. Meanwhile, Evil Geniuses’ CS:GO roster will look to find a replacement soon!

Karim “Krimbo” Moussa (Trial)
Fatih “gob b” Dayik – Coach
As Tweeted by BIG, the organization is investing in its all-german players, the two that have stuck around since the likes of 2017.
Accordingly, it seems that the organization will look to build their future roster on these players. Here are some of their most recent achievements as listed below:
17-20th @ IEM XVII Cologne
1st @ Roobet Cup
7-8th @ BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022
3rd @ Pinnacle Cup Championship

Instead, offering three months of competition, with a franchised League of Legends league, the LCK is once again proving to be the most popular region in the world for the esport. Especially compared to the other regions, the LCK Spring 2022 was simply awesome.
Contributing to this was the rise of T1, featuring a flawless run setting records never seen before and dominating the rest of the competition. Let’s see if the Summer event will feature similar figures.
Otherwise, here on esportsguide we’ll continue to stay up to date with LoL esports.

Especially since the event opted for a longer format, the event managed to build a level of competition never seen before – really setting the standards rather high for CS:GO.
Concluding the top 5, this event is no surprise. Accordingly, MSI 2022 was the first opportunity for the international community to compete and figure out which region is best.
Featuring an incredible battle between the Chinese and Korean champions, the peak of over 2,000,000 viewers took place during the grand final between Royal Never Give Up and T1.

Considering that each CDL Major this season has offered a different victor, predictions are rather hazy heading into this post-season event. Overall, the favourites include OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe although the competition has never been tighter.
In addition to Call of Duty, Rocket League esports is also looking to conclude.
Indeed, heading into this season the format was changed slightly. Now, after three regional events, the entire competition will conclude in epic fashion.
Specifically, Psyonix is inviting the world of competitive Rocket League to compete for over $2,000,000. At each stage of the competition, teams have earned points in order to seed for this huge event.
So much so, the event will be packed with competition – stacked with 24 teams all worthy of the world title!
Furthermore, this year’s event is hugely important considering that last year’s international event was in fact cancelled due to the global situation. Now returning with a live crowd and so many storylines, this looks to be one of the top events of the summer.

Inviting the partnered teams to the event, this event looks to continue maintaining the incredible form that CS:GO esports has been in recently – can FaZe Clan maintain their dominance?
The event will also serve as qualifying for the BLAST Fall Finals 2022!
Speaking of post-season, the PUBG Mobile World Invitational looks to be PUBG Mobile’s exciting mid-season event.
Organized with Gamers8, KRAFTON, Tencent and ESL joining forces, the top 18 teams in the world have been invited to compete for $2,000,000 offline in Riyadh.
Considering that last year offered record-breaking viewership, the expectatinos for this event are through the roof. Especially considering that an offline crowd is rare for PUBG Mobile, last year’s event featured two separate regions and an online environment.
