It’s no argument that FlyQuest had a poor season last year. Indeed, after placing in the top 3 at both regional events of the LCS for 2020, they fell off in 2021 in a major way. Accordingly, some change has taken place, and we’re happy to present the FlyQuest LCS Roster 2022!

So, what do we have to expect for next season? Well, the organization definitely has high hopes after making some major changes once the team realised that making it to Worlds 2021 was out of the question.

Accordingly, by also bringing on some new talent from the Academy team, the following is the roster signed for the incoming season of LCS 2022:

As we’ve always stated, coaches are sometimes the missing piece for a team to achieve success. Accordingly, in franchised leagues such as the LCS, many organization invest in this. Indeed, one such team is 100 Thieves, as backed up by a recent press release. Read on to learn about 100 Thieves LCS mithy below!

Over the past year, 100 Thieves have headed into each game with the strategy of Ham “Lustboy” Jang-sik. However, with the announcement of his departure, a new coach is in the mix.

Specifically, it’s official that Alfonso “mithy” Rodriguez is coming on board from Cloud9 to help out with the coaching. This only makes sense, as we’ll explain below.

LoL 2021 All-Star Event – Unfortunately Canceled

With regards to the competitive calendar for League of Legends, one of the more peculiar events is the All-Star Event. Indeed, celebrating the best talents in the world, it’s always been a merry and light-hearted way to end the year before next season. However, the LoL 2021 All-Star Event has been canceled – read on to learn more!

Accordingly, as you can expect, the reason behind this decision is in fact due to the global health situation.

Yet, last year the event was online – why couldn’t it be online this year? Here’s Riot Games’ reasoning on the matter:

While we assessed switching to an online format like we did for ASE 2020, we do not feel that this format truly captures the spirit of ASE, which is to bring pros, influencers, and fans together to celebrate the LoL Esports season with cross-regional competition.

We want to sincerely thank all of our fans, players, and partners for supporting us this year.

Honestly, it makes a lot of sense. Basically, why host this community event without the community?

Cloud9 LCS Roster 2022 – Rebuilding the Coaching Staff

Indeed, it’s a discussion in the community as to whether or not coaches make a difference or not. Accordingly, their role is seen as essential by the competitors, while the community finds it hard to understand. Anyway, the Cloud9 LCS Roster 2022 aims to make improvements by remodelling their coaching front.

That’s where Cloud9 is drawing the line. After a somewhat mixed season, the organization is letting go of the following three coaches:

While the majority of the community would say it’s when the team is doing poorly, even placing second at the largest event in the world could be ‘failure’. However, following a surprising second place finish at the Mid-Season Invitational 2021, the team went through a rollercoaster. Although still placing first in LCK Summer 2021, they only placed second at Worlds.

Following an exciting season, read on as we list some of the essential points from their press release;

  • LEC 2022 Spring Dates: Kicking off on 14th January 2022 with two Superweeked
  • Spring Playoffs: Kicking off on 25th March, Finals on 9-10th April
  • Spring Playoffs and Finals will take place in LEC Studio Berlin
  • Amazon European Masters Sprig – starts on 4th April and finishes 8th May

In additional news, there’s more to talk about. Furthermore, Team BDS is making a move into the league, with FC Schalke 04 giving up their spot in the franchised league.

Specifically, Riot has place some emphasis on ‘Superweeks’, where there’ll be three days of competitive back-to-back matches specifically targetting some classic rivalries.

The only bad news is that the LEC roadshow will not take place due to health reasons.

Nongshim RedForce LCK 2022 – A Huge Contender for Next Season

Last season for Nongshim LCK ended quite poorly. Indeed, despite a great effort, they failed to qualify for Worlds 2021. Indeed, it was back to the drawing board and that saw a few changes roll in. Nongshim RedForce are a staple in Korean competitive League of Legends. Always guaranteed to contend in the region, they’ve recently failed to climb up the ranks to really show off their skills.

This off-season, the roster dropped their entire team with the likes of Gori, Wayne, Rich, Kellin and deokdam all leaving to make way for this newly announced roster:
