Indeed, with LoL Rostermania at its peak, everyone’s excited. However, it’s not only affecting the highest level of competitive LoL but also the lower levels. Accordingly, read on to learn more about the TSM Academy LoL roster which just got announced!
TSM Academy LoL – Prospects for Next Year?
As the Academy roster of one of the most popular franchised teams of the LCS, eyes are all on the TSM roster. Indeed, following a disappointing season, the following roster was just announced on their Twitter:
Omran “V1per” Shoura – Top Laner (New)
Young “Hyper” Seo – Jungler
Ji “Takeover” Hyeun-min – Mid Laner
Tony “Instinct” Ng – Bot Laner
Wang “Yursan” Sheng-Yu – Support
So, why the change? Well, if you take a look at their past year of results, it’s quite evident that this team looks to achieve better placements overall:
13-16th @ LCS Proving Grounds 2021 Summer
7th @ NA Academy 2021 Summer
5-6th @LCS Proving Grounds 2021 Spring
Will this team manage to improve on these former results? Accordingly, we’re not too sure and hence, we can’t wait to see this team in action.
Across all of last season, we can happily state that the Gen.G organization had a fantastic run in League of Legends. Indeed, carrying over from a successful 2020 season, 2021 was also great. However, that doesn’t mean they’re not making changes. Read on as we cover this story on the Gen.G LCK 2022 Roster!
Gen.G LCK 2022 Roster – An International Contender?
Nobody here is contesting whether or not Gen.G showed up this year. So much so, many are surprised at the fact that the team is in fact making any changes. However, with the end of Worlds, they let go of a few players:
Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong
Kim “Clid” Tae-min
Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee
Ko “Youngjae” Yeoung-jae
Kim “Life” Jeong-min
And now, they’ve just announced a complete new roster, one which they believe will finally reward them with first-place finishes:
Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon – Top
Choi Doran” Heyon-joon – Top
Han “Peanut” Wang-ho – Jungle
Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon – Mid
Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk – Bot
Son “Lehends” Si-woo – Support
Indeed, the organization is confident they can replicate and improve on their old results with a brand new team:
3-4th @ 2021 World Championship
3rd @ LCK Summer 2021
2nd @ LCK Spring 2021
We’ll be curious to see whether the rebuild will be worth it in the future.
Here at esportsguide, we’ve been featuring a lot of League of Legends rostermania in the past day. Accordingly, Team Liquid is joining in with the fun with their official changes. Accordingly, read on as we discuss the recent Team Liquid LCS Roster change – take a look below!
Team Liquid LCS Roster – High Hopes for Next Season?
The past season for Team Liquid in the LCS has been tough. Accordingly, they’ve failed to win any silverware, coming close twice. Otherwise, they’ve had no success internationally.
To do something about this, they’ve decided to switch up the roster slightly. Over the past few days, since November 18th, we’ve observed some shuffling. Accordingly, below is likely the final product for the upcoming season:
Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau – Top
Lucas “Santorin” Larsen – Jungle
Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen – Mid
Steven “Hans sama” Liv – Bot
Jo “Corejj” Yong-in – Support
One of the more interesting signings is none other than Steven “Hans” Liv having been signed from Rogue. Transitioning from a top LEC roster, this could help improve their international standings:
Back at Worlds 2021, MAD Lions were the final teams standing for European competitive scene. However, they couldn’t face the other internatinoal competition and failed to make an impression. Accordingly, the roster has made some changes to try improve – read on to learn about the following headline – MAD Lions Drops Carzzy!
MAD Lions Drops Carzzy – A Healthy Change
On paper, in terms of regional competition, MAD Lions isn’t a team many expected to change.
Accordingly, the only complaint from last season was not managing to make it very far in internatinoal competitions. In order to try and fix things up, they’ve just announced they’re dropping Matyas “Carzzy” Orsag as the former Bottom Laner.
Individually talented, the decision boils down to team composition and working together. Since his departure, the likes of “UNFORGIVEN” and “Reeker” have been added to the active roster:
Irfan “Armut” Tukek – Top Laner
Javier “Elyoya” Batalla – Jungler
Marek “Humanoid” Brazada – Mid Laner
Steven “Reeker” Chen- Mid Laner
William “UNFORGIVEN” Nieminen – Bot Laner
Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser – Support
As I’ll reiterate, the organization looks to improve from last year in terms of international performance:
5-8th @ Worlds 2021
1st @ LEC 2021 Summer Playoffs
3-4th @ MSI 2021
1st @ LEC 2021 Spring Playoffs
Let’s see if MAD Lions will stay on top of Europe and inch closer to international dominance.
Accordingly, Evil Geniuses LCS Roster is currently in a rough spot. Indeed, after a disappointing LCS 2021 season, the North American roster has been making some epic changes to try and improve their chances. Accordingly, they’ve just signed the youngster in ‘Inspired’ – read on as we discuss the roster change!
Evil Geniuses LCS Roster – What’s Next for the Roster?
So, who is Kacper “Inspired” Skoma? Indeed, this past season he was a component of the Rogue team over at the LEC. Indeed, despite podium finishes in both Spring and Summer, the Rogue roster placed 9-11th at Worlds 2021.
The European player will fit into the active roster below:
Jeong “Impact” Eon-young – Top
Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen – Jungle
Kacper “Inspired” Skoma – Jungle
Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun – Mid
Kyle “Danny” Sakamaki – Bottom
Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun – Support
Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme – Support
We’re not sure whether or not this is the final roster for the upcoming roster. Accordingly, they look to aim to improve from their past season of disappointment below:
5-6th @ LCS Summer 2021
5-6th @ LCS Spring 2021
We’re confident they can only go up from here. Let’s see how they compare with the rest of the LCS.
Only a few months ago, we witnessed Worlds 2021. Indeed, taking over the esports industry with its incredible competition, we can’t wait for next year. Accordingly, neither can Riot Games. Read on as we cover the exciting press release from Riot Games concerning the Worlds 2022 Update!
Worlds 2022 Update – What We’ve Been Waiting For
So, what exactly have Riot Games just announced? Well, it seems that we already have details regarding the Worlds 2022 event which will be held in North America.
Below are some quick facts:
Play-Ins in Mexico City
Groups and Quarterfinals in New York City
Semifinals in Toronto, Canada
Finals in San Francisco, California
Indeed, Riot Games looks to leave their mark on the North American continent like never before. With stops in Canada and Mexico, Here’s what the head of LoL Esports had to say:
“The momentum behind League of Legends Esports has only continued to grow since the last time we hosted Worlds in the U.S. in 2016.
We’re thrilled to bring the full scale of our global sport back to North America, and, COVID permitting, welcome fans into the stands across three countries and four different cities,”
Naz Aletaha, Global Head of LoL Esports.
In conclusion, we can’t wait to hear more, following the press release from Riot.
As we all know, only one team won Worlds 2021. Accordingly, everyone else is scratching their heads and rebuilding for next season. Accordingly, FunPlus Phoenix is one such team from the LPL. Read on as we cover their most recent roster change – FunPlus Phoenix Doinb!
FunPlus Phoenix Doinb – Where Off to Now?
The South Korean Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang has always been the centre of stories. Indeed, back in 2019, he stood as the first player from the LCK region to be granted LPL residency.
Anyways, over the past here, he’s been the Mid player for a disappointed FunPlus Phoenix. Although the organization had no plans of dropping the player, the player announced his parting of ways from the organization:
Today we bid farewell to our Super Carry, Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang. After three unforgettable years, we would like to extend our gratitude to you for all the spirits you brought to the organization, both on and off the rift.”
With roster changes taking place everywhere, let’s focus our gaze on the European League of Legends competition. Accordingly, the Astralis LEC Roster has just made some headlines and it’s for good reasons. Indeed, we’re excited to talk about Astralis – what do they have up their sleeves for the next season?
Astralis LEC Roster Announced – Any Good?
Recently, the Astralis organization has been very active with changes in this off-season. Accodingly, the following is their final official lineup for their next season:
Matti “WhiteKnight” Sormunen – Top Laner
Nikolay “Zanzarah” Akatov – Jungler
Oliver “Dajor” Ryppa – Mid Laner
Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup – Bot Laner
Hampus “promisq” Mikael Abrahamsson – Support
Accordingly, these changes are definitely justified. Having only joined the LEC last season, they’ll need to work hard to impress the European region of League of Legends. Indeed, take a look at their performance from last season:
9th @ LEC Spring 2021
7-8th @ LEC 2021 Spring
With the final piece as the Fnatic Rising player, “Dajor” this team has a great combination of youngsters and veterans to help with making an appropriate team composition.
We’ll keep an eye out to see how this roster will work out.
Over the past week, we’ve been covering rostermania in League of Legends. However, most teams right now are simply dropping players. That changes with the Golden Guardians LCS Roster making an official reveal of their line-up. Accordingly, feel free to read on to learn more about this roster below!
Golden Guardians LCS Roster – Big Moves for Big Results?
For those unaware, last season was very unsuccessful for Golden Guardians, as shown by the following placements:
LCS Summer 2021 – 7-8th
LCS Spring 2021 – 10th
Indeed, Golden Guardians are aiming to learn from this. Last year they placed an importance on having young players new to the scene, this year they’re playing it safer. Accordingly, the following roste rhas been announced:
Eric “Licorice” Ritchie – Top
Milo “Pridestalkr” Wehnes – Jungle
Nicholas “Ablazeolive” Antonio Abbott – Mid
Lawrence “Lost” Hui – Bot
Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung – Support
For those unaware, there are a few veterans here, such as Eric “Licorice” Ritchie and Milo “Pridestalkr” Wehnes. Adding such players and keeping a few youngsters from last year looks to be a great combination.
Such an early confirmation gives the team more time to prepare for the upcoming season together and perhaps earn a head start. We’re curious to see how this lineup compares to the other LCS teams.
Indeed, rostermania is the buzz word after an esports season ends. Accordingly, after Worlds 2021, many teams are rebuilding as they head onto the next season of competition. Here at esportsguide, we’ve prepared a small featured article listing most of the changes. Read on as we talk LoL Rostermania 2021:
Starting with the Winners – LPL Rosters
FunPlus Phoenix – no official changes yet
JD Gaming – Dropping “LokeN” and “Mystic”
Top Esports – no official changes yet
Indeed, there’s only one place to start. As we’ll reiterate, the winners of the world hailed from the region. Accordingly, EDward Gaming dominated the world and brought the region back on top.
Bearing this in mind, the LPL is actually one of the quietest regions here. Supposedly, all we have so far is JD Gaming letting go of some talent following a horrible 12th place finish at the LPL 2021 Summer.
Otherwise, we’re expecting a lot more changes to hit the headlines very shortly.
LCK Roster Changes – LoL Rostermania 2021
Afreeca Freecs – Dropping “Dread”, “Fly”, “Bang” and “Lehends”
DRX – Dropping “Destroy” and “cvMax”
Fredit BRION – Dropping “Hoya”, “Chieftain” and “Yaharong”

Hanwha Life Esports – Dropping “Chovy” and “Deft”
T1 – Dropping “Cuzz”, “Clozer”, “Teddy”, “Hoit” and “Stardust”
Nongshim RedForce –Dropping “Gori”
Liiv SANDBOX – Dropping the entire roster, signing “Clozer”
kt Rolster – Dropping “Blank”, “Dove”, “Ucal” and “Zzus”
Although there’s a lot going on in the region, there’s only one question on everyone’s minds. Indeed, will DWG KIA make a change? So far nothing has come through even though some of the players have had their contracts ended.
Otherwise, many of the lower tier teams are also making changes. Specifically, some of our biggest surprises include T1, who although placed on the podium at Worlds 2021, are overhauling their team. The same can be said for Gen.G who also had a strong performance, but still dropping three of their players.
With almost everyone making a change except DWG KIA, perhaps it would be an advantage to not make a change for this season? Or will the pressure get to them after placing second at Worlds 2021?
LEC Roster Changes – Not Many Changes
Astralis – Dropping “MagiFelix” and “Jeskla”, signing “Kobbe”
Team BDS – no official changes yet
Excel Esports – no official changes yet
Fnatic – no official changes yet
G2 Esports – Dropping “Rekkles”, “GrabbZ”
MAD Lions – no official changes yet
Misfits Gaming – dropping “Kobbe”
Rogue – no official changes yet
SK Gaming – no official changes yet
Team Vitality – no official changes yet
Moving over to the LEC, this region is just as quiet as the LPL.
However, unlike the LPL, the LEC was very unsuccessful at international events this entire season. Specifically, the only team to show up was MAD Lions with a 5-8th place finish.
Otherwise, the new face of Astralis is looking to find their footing for their next season with some new changes. Furthermore, the popular organization of G2 Esports faced one of its most disappointing seasons ever. By not even making it to Worlds, the organization has dropped some players and will likely make some further changes.
LCS Roster Changes – LoL Rostermania 2021
100 Thieves – Sign ‘Tenacity’ as a Top Laner
Cloud9 – Dropping ‘Perkz’ and ‘Vulcan’
Counter Logic Gaming – Dropping the entire roster and coach, signing ‘Thinkcard’ as Head Coach
Dignitas – Dropping “aphromoo”
Evil Geniuses – Dropping “Contractz” and “Jiizuke”, signing “jojopyun” and “Vulcan”
FlyQuest – no official changes yet
Golden Guardians – Signing “Pridestalker” and “Olleh”
Immortals – Dropping “Insanity” and “Raes”, signing “PowerOfEvil”
Team Liquid – no changes yet
TSM – Dropping “PowerOfEvil”, “SwordArt” and “Bjergsen”
Moving over to the final region, the LCS also didnt impress much at the Worlds 2021 event. Accordingly, their main showing was Cloud9 placing 5-8th and the favourites of 100 Thieves failing to make it far.
Bearing this in mind, this looks to be one of the more active regions, with the likes of Evil Geniuses, Immortals and TSM all remodelling for nex year.
