  • General Manager – Matthew “TazMo” Taylor (Dallas Fuel)
  • Head Coach – Christopher “ChrisTFer” Graham (London Spitfire)

Fielded from two Overwatch League teams, it will be noted that Dallas Fuel is one of the best organization in the West region.

Whoever they choose for this team, they’ll want to maintain their legacy:

Indeed, few things have been confirmed, but the new map will be taking place in the Antarctic Peninsula. Taking the community to a new geographical area, we can’t wait to see whether the different texture of ice will play a part.

Built on the landscape of a new title such as Overwatch 2, this World Cup looks more exciting than ever. Moreover, this year, a total of 36 countries will be competing. Here they are below:

  • AMER A – Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States
  • AMER B – Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru
  • EMEC A – Belgium, France, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
  • EMEC B – Germany, Norway, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Turkey
  • APAC A – Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, South Korea
  • APAC B – Australia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand

Also, apart from the 36 selected countries, there is a wild card challenge with four additional spots. In addition, not every team will be heading to LAN – only 16 will make it and this will be decided in June.

One of the 16 spots in the LAN final will be awarded to China by default – which makes sense.

Overall, this seems to be a problem with Blizzard Entertainment and filing contracts. Specifically, all Blizzard titles have been taken offline in China due to a failed contract extension with NetEase.

Indeed, Overwatch League teams have come out publically complaining of the fact that they do not have access to the competitive title.

For those unaware, the competition in Overwatch League is split between West and East. Multiple teams in the East are based in China, and all have been affected:
