Indeed, it’s that time of year again. After another set of regional competition, there’s the RLCS Spring Split Major to look forward to. Accordingly, the best teams in the world are heading to London to compete offline for global dominance!
Event Background
For those unaware, this Major is only another example of how the format has shifted this year. Indeed, with three splits, this upcoming Split is the final one of the season.
Across each event, teams have fought to earn seeding and points at the World Championship. Accordingly, this is the final opportunity for teams to make it to the largest event of the year.

Running from 29th June to 3rd July, a total of $300,000 will be on the line as teams compete in the Copper Box Arena offline.

Format
In terms of format, the competition will involve a double elimination bracket bracket.
Indeed, this means that all teams will start on the Winners’ Bracket and from here, teams will be able to win and stay in the Winners’ Bracket. However, should a team lose they’ll be sent to the Losers’ Bracket where they’ll fight for their lifeline in the competition.

Apart from the $300,000 prize pool, teams are competing for a majority of RLCS Circuit Ranking Points.
They’ll do so by fighting through matches which will vary in length as listed below:
- Upper Bracket – Round 1 and Quarterfinals (BO5), Semifinals and Finals (BO7)
- Lower Bracket – Round 1-3 (BO5), Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals (BO7)
- Grand Finals are BO7 with a possible Bracket Reset
