Indeed, it’s that time of year again. After another set of regional competition, there’s the RLCS Spring Split Major to look forward to. Accordingly, the best teams in the world are heading to London to compete offline for global dominance!

For those unaware, this Major is only another example of how the format has shifted this year. Indeed, with three splits, this upcoming Split is the final one of the season.

Across each event, teams have fought to earn seeding and points at the World Championship. Accordingly, this is the final opportunity for teams to make it to the largest event of the year.

Running from 29th June to 3rd July, a total of $300,000 will be on the line as teams compete in the Copper Box Arena offline.

Format

In terms of format, the competition will involve a double elimination bracket bracket.

Indeed, this means that all teams will start on the Winners’ Bracket and from here, teams will be able to win and stay in the Winners’ Bracket. However, should a team lose they’ll be sent to the Losers’ Bracket where they’ll fight for their lifeline in the competition.

Heading offline to London, the best teams in the world from each region have been confirmed.

Although not visible above, the competition is in fact a Double Elimination bracket. Bearing this in mind, the likes of any losses results in the Loser falling to the Lower Bracket.

Just like the previous events, teams will compete through intense BO7 matches to make it to deep and earn the RLCS Circuit Ranking Points and $300,000 on the line.

It’s been a long wait for the first Rocket League Major of the season. Accordingly, the 2022 season kicked off a few months ago. After a few months of regional competition, we can now look forward to RLCS Winter Split Major 2022 – read on for viewership details below!

Accordingly, there’s so much to discuss. Finally inviting the entire region back to LAN, the best competitors in the world will be competing in the Los Angeles YouTube Theater.

Bearing this in mind, Psyonix is throwing $300,000 on the line for these teams. Specifically, the event will run from 23rd March to 27th March.

Format

In terms of format, there’s a lot to dig into here.

Starting with the Group Stage,w e’ll have the 16 teams split into 3 groups of 4 and one group of 3 as listed:

  • A: DeToNator, FaZe Clan, Team Queso, Version 1
  • B: Endpoint CeX, FURIA Esports, The General NRG, Renegades
  • C: Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, Team BDS, Team Secret
  • D: Dignitas, Pioneers, Spacestation Gaming,

Kicking things off, there will be a round robin in each Group with BO5 matches. While there are a tonne of tiebreaker rules and whatnot, teams will be playing each other only once to try and take it all and make it to the Playoffs.

Seeds into Playoffs will work as follows: Winner proceeds to the Winners’ Bracket, 2nd-3rd qualify to Losers’ Bracket while the 4th place teams of each group will be eliminated – note that the group of 3 will involve no eliminations.

With the Playoffs starting in March 25th, there will also be a crowd in the final two days (26th to 27th). Here, a double elimination bracket will take. All matches in the Upper Bracket will be a BO7 while Lower Bracket Round 1 and 2 are BO5 – everything else BO7.

By being a double elimination, teams from Winners’ have to lose twice to fall out of the competition.

Apart from the $100,000 on the line, teams are also competing for the RLCS Circuit Ranking Points up for grabs too – these points guarantee placement.

Accordingly, the groups were just announced and here they are below:

  • B – FaZe Clan, Ghost Gaming, NXT Esports, Oxygen Esports

Kicking off this weekend on January 28th, we can’t wait. Accordingly, teams will be competing to proceed to the bracket stage. Notably, only the top 3 teams progress while the fourth is eliminated.

Depending on their performance, teams will either be seede to the Winners’ or Losers’ Bracket of the Playoffs.

Back in 2020, the team brought in Slater “retals” Thomas hoping to improve their results. Since then, they’ve done well to remain consistent, but they remain not on top of the region like they once were.

Indeed, heading into 2022, one of the top organizations in Rocket League have chosen to shake things up. With the introduction of Daniel “Daniel” Piecenski, the entire roster is as follows:

Heading into this year, Psyonix has decided to bring more regional and international Majors to the scene in order to make things more exciting. Accordingly, three Majors across the year will build up to the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22.

With the competitive Rocket League season kicking off this Fall, we’re ready for another Major to enjoy. Accordingly, the RLCS 2022 Fall Split Major is less than a week away and we can’t wait. Indeed, below you can find all the viewership details you need to properly enjoy this first major for the 2021-22 season.

These past few weeks, the Fall Regional Qualifiers have taken place across multiple regions, such as North America, Europe, OCE, SAM, APAC and MENA.

With the top teams from each region decided, it’s time for these teams to go head-to-head to see who’s on top. Accordingly, Psyonix is inviting 16 of the best 3v3 teams in the world.

Heading over to the Stockholm ESL Sweden Studio, we’ll have $300,000 on the line. Running from the 8th to the 12th December, here are your qualified teams for this event:

Format

With regards to format, the event is split into two stages.

Starting things off with a Swiss Stage, from the 8th to the 10th December, this will involve all o fthe teams competing at the event. All matches here will be BO5, and each team will be doing their best to be one of the top 8 making it to the Playoffs.

It’s at the Playoffs that things get serious. Running from the 11th to the 12th December, we’ll be enjoying a single elimination bracket. Here, all matches will be a BO7 except for the Grand Finals. Here, as in the past, there’ll be BO3 involving BO7 matches.

After all this, we’ll have our crowned Fall Split Major Champions.

With regards to the schedule, there’ll be a Main and Alternate Stream going on at the same time. For example, the following are the streaming details for the first day of the competition:

Over the past week, competitive Rocket League kicked back into gear with its return. Accordingly, the RLCS 2021-22 Regional Event took place across multiple regions. Indeed, as one of three regionals to take place, we have a short recap covering our victors over the past few regional competitors.

One thing we’ll definitely have to point out is that in the two most popular regions, Europe and North America, upsets were seen.

Who are Endpoint CeX? Well, they are the new champions who managed to take down the reigning victors of Team BDS.
