As you can expect, recently the organization has been underperforming. Not evening competing in the first Stage of the VCT 2022 NA Challengers event. the roster is hungry to return to the top of the region.

Accordingly, that’s where reports from Dotesports come through.

Among the many options this team is considering, the name of Phat “supamen” Le has been thrown around. Indeed, the highlight player from Rise would definitely improve this team:

  • Andrej “babybay” Francisty
  • Quan “dicey” Tran
  • Xavier “flyuh” Carison
  • Christopher “LarryBanks” Doyi
  • Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski

  • 5-6th @ VCT 2021: NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs

Despite being rather popular in NA, we’ll reiterate that this organization has failed to have a big impact. Yes, every now and then there are still sparks of brilliance, but completely inconsistent.

Bearing this in mind, the team has been through many changes. However, this new change has turned many heads with Matthew “Wardell” Yu parting ways with the organization. Accordingly, the popular streaming personality was part of the original roster.

Here is the official roster as it stands:

  • Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
  • Aleko “Aleko” Gabuniya
  • Corey “corey” Nigra
  • Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo

This is likely one of the best chances the team has to improve. They’ll need to find a new Jett/AWPer who can replace the former player leaving – they do hve an Academy team. Perhaps then, they could have a chance to improve:

  • 9-12th @ VCT 2022 NA Stage 1 Challengers Open Qualifier 2
  • 5-8th @ VCT 2022 NA Stage 1 Challengers Open Qualifier 1
  • 7-8th @ VCT 2021 North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs

Specifically, one of their Champions Tour winning players is being benched. Indeed, the likes of Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi has been moved to the bench of this roster.

This change follows the team’s failure at VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, as the team failed to reach the Playoffs. Notably, they’ve been playing without Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt who took a break for health reasons.

Anyways, the current official lineup is as follows:

  • Mehmet “cNed” Yagiz Ipek
  • Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets
  • Patryk “starxo” Kopczynski
  • Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt

Change is always tough for a team that has proven its potential to be the best in the world. However, perhaps this team is struggling to adapt to the constant changing state of the game.

With no substitutes to bring on, the European organization will likely be bringing on new talent as their fifth man for the second Stage of the year.

VALORANT Patch 4.05 – Nerfing Brimstone’s Speed

Following the game-changing 4.04 patch, Riot Games has stepped back on some changes to VALORANT. Accordingly, in a new 4.05 patch, there’s some balancing going on. Read on as we highlight the changes in the VALORANT Patch 4.05!

VALORANT Patch 4.05 – An Expected Change

Indeed, the greatest effect of Patch 4.04 was the overhauling of the Controller meta. By nerfing the likes of Astra, Omen and Brimstone rose to the limelight once again.

However, changes are here, exclusively to nerf one specific ability fo Brimstone causing problems:

  • Brimstone Stim Beacon: Charges reduced to 1 from 2, Price increased to 200 from 100

This should definitely fix the ‘run and gun’ effect of this ability, affecting professional play too.

In addition, there are some addition changes to bear in mind to improve the general experience:

  • Crosshair changes – made it easier to export and import settings to perfect everything
  • New Settings for Weapon Selection/Prioritize Strongest Weapon and so on
  • Competitive updates: Deterministic Map System to allow for better Map Variation when playing online
  • Bug fixes

These are great changes to accomodate the highest level of play.

Riot Games also has multiple fixes for the changes implemented on the map Icebox, which looks to come in the next patch.
