VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 – No New Map or Agent Coming

Accordingly, the state of VALORANT has been through a lot in the past months. Following multiple updates, new maps and new agents, the community has had to adapt. Bearing this in mind, VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 looks to slow things up and present a different focus.

VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 – Focusing on Balancing

Specifically, the developers chose to update the community over the coming Act via a YouTube video:

As you can see, the team over at Riot Games is slowing things down and focusing on the basics. Accordingly, instead of adding, this upcoming Act looks to present multiple balance updates to the agents and abilities to ensure the game is running smoothly and fairly.

Notably, this already looks to be part of the plan with the upcoming patch notes which look to make Yoru more viable.

Such an announcement is rather exciting for the professional teams too – instead of having to adapt to new maps and agents, teams can dive deep into strategy and planning with a stable state of the game in mind.

We can’t wait to see what balance patches come through!

For those unaware, Team BDS is a top European esports organization, with their main success in titles such as League of Legends, Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege.

Anyway, heading into this year of VALORANT, they built a new roster with the hope of being one of the best in the region. Indeed, they sported the following roster with this goal:

  • Rodolphe “rodeN” Bianco
  • Logan “logaN” Corti
  • Jonathan “TakaS” Paupard
  • Alex “AKUMAAAA” Bello
  • Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer

According to a report by Dexerto, all players have been let go except for the likes of Rodolphe “rodeN” Bianco and Logan “logaN” Corti.

Considering the reputation of Team BDS, a 7th place finish at the Closed Qualifier is justifiable for some changes. Likely departing the idea of a fully French roster, they’ll have to cook something up for future Closed Qualifiers.
