CDL 2022 Season Format – Mixing Online and Offline
As we like to do for these press releases, we’ve condensed the information.
Accordingly, below are some key points for the 2022 season:
- Regular Season – 12 teams playing across 4 weeks. Everything starts online but concludes in an offline venue.
- Post-season – for this year, 8 teams will once again make it to CoD Champs, though everyone will be starting in the Winners Round 1
- New Events – the likes of CoD Warzone and Pro-Am tournament will be held in the middle of the year
- Kickoff Classic – the action all starts with pre-season friendlies on January 21st in a LAN environment
- Opening Weekend – the seaso kicks off on February 4th
Indeed, this is just the news we’ve been waiting for. With all 12 franchises confirmed for the competition, no worries stand in the way.
