Accordingly, we already know the 2022 roster for Cloud9. Combining some international talent, the roster will definitely need to be backed up by some of the best coaches in the world in order to progress.
That’s where Cloud9 is drawing the line. After a somewhat mixed season, the organization is letting go of the following three coaches:
- Alfonso “mithy” Aguirre Rodriguez
- Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin
- Jonathan “Westrice” Nguyen
And just like that, the Blues are in the market for a new head and strategic coach for their main roster, and a head coach for their Academy roster.
Indeed, anyone signed will be looking to improve on the performances from last year:
- 5-8th @ 2021 Worlds Championship
- 3rd @ LCS Summer 2021
- 5th @ Mid-Season Invitaitonal 2021
- 1st @ LCS Spring 2021
