Indeed, heading into the VALORANT Masters Stage 1 event, there are only a few spots up for grabs. Accordingly, many teams who fail to make it are making changes to improve their chances for the future. Read on as we discuss the situation behind the Crazy Raccoon VALORANT Roster below!
Crazy Raccoon VALORANT Roster – Tough Change
For those unaware, Crazy Raccoon are one of the top Japanese VALORANT competitive teams. Representing the region for VALORANT Champions 2021, they failed to make it Major 1.
Specifically, by placing 2nd at the recent Challengers Playoffs, they failed to qualify. Following this, their in-game-leader announced his departure from the organization.
Bearing this in mind, here’s how the roster looks like without Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom:
- Yusuke “neth” Matsuda
- Moon “Astell” Ji-won
- Souta “popogachi” Morita
- “Meiy”
As you can imagine, the organization will now have to look for a replacement as they hope to be able to qualify for the next seasonal major, improving over their recent run:
- 2nd @ VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs
- 3-4th @ VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Week 1
- 1-8th @ VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Week 1 – Open Qualifier
- 13-16th @ VALORANT Champions 2021
