CS:GO ESL Challenger Melbourne – Starting Next Week
Accordingly, hosted by ESL, the event will run from 2nd to 4th September. Furthermore, this is an A-Tier event in the lower tier of CS:GO competition.
Bearing this in mind, $100,000 are on the line for the 8 qualified teams.
For those unaware, the format was set to have two stages. Firstly, a Group Stage featuring 4 teams in each group will allow only the top 2 from each group to progress.
Progress means making it to the final Playoffs bracket. Here, a single elimination bracket will decide the competition.
Anyways, ESL just announced the groups below:
- A: OG, Entropiq, Evil Geniuses, Wings Up Gaming
- B: Imperial Esports, paiN Gaming, ORDER, VERTEX ESC
We can’t wait to see this tightly knit competition kick off. While these aren’t the very best teams in the world, they’re smaller teams using this opportunity to build their reputation.
