The map creators behind Tuscan, Catfood and Brute, have released a short video touring around the map, showing a more refined look of the classic map. Here below is the video showcasing Tuscan’s new look:
As you can see in the above video, there’s still a lot of work to be done, but at least, the creators have made it clear that they are making some progress on Tuscan.
Community Reaction
The majority of people that have seen the trailer, reacted in a positive manner. And that is definitely a good sign for the map creators, as it suggests that they are going down the correct path in redesigning Tuscan.
How will this impact the current map pool?
Will this new version of the map make it into the current Active Duty Map Pool? I don’t think so. While they’re open to new and creative maps, they aren’t too keen on shaking up the current map pool. Seeing the newest version of Tuscan reaching completion is definitely great to see, and might help Valve update the map pool with some fresh changes.
Tuscan’s new look – Opinion
I for one, am very excited to see the redesigned classic map. Hopefully, Valve finds the map suitable for competitive play and replace it with one of the least played maps in the current map pool.
