The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown kicked off on the 24th and we’ve already arrived at the Round of 8 stage. In this article we’ll be covering which teams are left, the final matchups, and which teams have the best odds of making it out and qualify for the Fall 2020 Finals.
Which teams are left?
Today we had Furia defeat Virtus.pro 2-1 for the first Round of 8 match, and for the 2nd we had Mousesports overcome Heroic 2-1 as well. That means that we have Furia and Mousesports confirmed for their Final matches
That leaves us with MiBR and Team Liquid in the top half of the bracket, and Cloud9 with Complexity in the bottom side of the bracket.

Here are the schedules of the rest of the matches:
- November 28, 2020 – Round of 8
- 16:30 CET – MiBR vs Team Liquid
- 19:30 CET – Cloud9 vs Complexity
- November 29, 2020 – Round of 4
- 16:30 CET – Furia vs (Winner of MiBR/Team Liquid)
- 19:30 CET – Mousesports vs (Winner of Cloud9/Complexity)
Predictions
We’ve seen the strength of this brazilian Furia roster many times at previous events, and with their match ups being MiBR or Liquid, I would probably favor Furia to qualify. With regards to the bottom side of the bracket, having Mousesports defeat the likes of Heroic, which is the 2nd best team in the world right now is definitely a solid statement. It will definitely be a tough task for either Cloud9 or Complexity, so odds are favoring Mouz.
