Since Chinese teams were not invited to ther ESL One Stockholm event, Valve offered an alternative. Indeed, instead a DPC China Tour 2 Regional Final took place. Accordingly, last weekend the best teams in the region went head to head – here’s how PSG.LGD went on top!
DPC China Tour 2 Regional Final – Not Headed to the Major
Of course, this is no surprise. For those unaware, PSG.LGD have an international history and are known as one of the best teams in the world.
Heading into this event with $100,000 on the line – the DPC points were also very valuable. These will be applicable later down the line.
Anyways, with the event only involved 4 teams, the top 4 from DPC China Tour 2, Division 1, here’s how it concluded:
- #1 – PSG.LGD
- #2 – Team Aster
- #3 – Xtreme Gaming
- #4 – Royal Never Give Up
What’s more? It was an incredible level of competition. PSG.LGD did not win flawlessly, having to return after falling to the Lower Bracket. Returning to the Grand Final to rematch Team Aster, they would go on to win in sweeping fashion.
