While the competitors gear up to return in roughly a month, event organizers such as ESL take this opportunity to announce new events. ESL Pro League Season 14 – First Chapter of the Pro Tour
Indeed, the ESL Pro League Season 14 is only the first in a series of events announced, as you can see in the following Tweet:
So far, as you’ve already found out, the ESL Pro League looks to be held online. Beyond this, there are a few more details to digest:
- Season 14 will be played very similarly to Season 13 – with all 24 teams competing within European spots
- Dates include 16th August up to 12th September
- 13 teams will be permanent partner teams
- 6 teams qualifying based on ESL World Ranking
- 5 teams qualifying based on ESEA S37 EU and S36 NA Events
Until then, we have to simply wait for the action to come to us. Teams will look to try and start fresh after the player break, while still fighting for seeds at the PGL Major.
