Indeed, with the Six Invitational 2021 on the horizon, we’re excited! The competitive Rainbow Six Siege community simply cannot wait. However, until then, we still have some competition to enjoy. Specifically, the European League 2020 Finals are going to start 2021 with a bang. Here’s a quick preview!
Hosted by Ubisoft and FACEIT, the European League 2020 Finals aims to whittle out the best team in the region. Following the regular season, the top 4 teams have been invited to compete for €100,000! Here are the four teams:
- BDS Esport
- G2 Esports
- Virtus.pro
- Natus Vincere
The event will take place from 15-17th January. Seemingly, though we’re awaiting new details, the competition should involve a simple double-elimination bracket.
Predictions for the European League 2020 Finals
Following the completion of the inaugural regular season of the new European League, expectations are high. Besides these general expectations, we have some easy predictions we can throw out there.
The favourites for the event are BDS Esport. After tying for first place at Stage 1 and dominating Stage 2 with a considerable lead of 6 points – they’re in the top position.
However, they aren’t the clear winners by any stretch of the imagination. In my opinion I’d consider G2 Esports as the second favourite not necessarily due to performance but due to the fact that Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro have both undergone roster changes.
Due to this, there’s an element of surprise which could really flip this event on its head.
Heading closer, we’ll be sure to provide an extensive How to Watch featured article for you all.
