With the conclusion of the regional Six August Majors, the competitive Rainbow Six Siege community is ready for more. Indeed, Stage 2 of the inaugural seasons are here to amuse the community. Read on for a short preview of the European League Season 1 Stage 2 event!

The top 10 teams in Europe are back, namely:

  • Rogue
  • Chaos Esports Club
  • BDS Esports
  • Team Empire
  • G2 Esports
  • Natus Vincere
  • Team Vitality
  • Virtus.pro
  • Tempra Esports
  • Team Secret

Accordingly, $50,000 of prize is back on the line and starting from 21st September to the 19th of October, it’s anyone’s to win it. Again, the Round-Robin league format looks to determine the top 4 teams that’ll attend the Six Major, now in November. Here, $125,000 will be on the line together with continental dominance.

The schedule for the European League Season 1 Stage 2 is similar to the first stage. Chiefly, there are 9 playdays for the BO1 matches to be played out on.

In terms of predictions, it’s natural to put the top 4 teams from last season at the very top. Namely, Rogue, BDS Esports, G2 Esports and Virtus.pro are the largest threats.

Following their surprising win at the Six August Major, BDS Esports have pulled a lot of attention. Everyone else will be trying to prove it as a fluke.

Beyond that, by entering a second stage, the competition grows more familiar. Teams will become adapted to facing off against other opponents. Hence, the level of competition should increase.
