Evil Geniuses CS:GO Roster 2022 – Struggling Internationally
Accordingly, missing out on the PGL Antewerp Major was very disappointing for Evil Geniuses. Despite a revamped roster back in January, the team failed to make enough noise to qualify for the Major event.
Bearing this in mind, change was definitely on the board. However, none of the players have been changed.
Specifically, their former coach, Damien “maLeK” Marcel has now parted ways with the organization following the result. Indeed, the following players will be looking for a new coach:
- Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
- Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
- Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip
- Timothy “autimatic” Ta
- William “RUSH” Wierzba
Apart from the head coach, the assistant coach of Paolo “Evy” Bebudeau and the analyst of Juan “Hepa” Borges have also been let go of.
Let’s see if this rebuilding of the staff can help this team achieve more in the future compared to their past:
- 5-8th @ BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022
- 4th @ Intel Extreme Masters XVII – Dallas North American Qualifier
- 8th @ PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR
- 21-24th @ ESL Pro League Seson 15
