It has been reported that popular Esports organization FaZe Clan are interested in entering Rocket league as their next Esport title. Here is what we know.
FaZe Clan entering Rocket League – How?
The tweet above, posted by esports newsperson Jake Lucky clearly indicates leaked plans from Femio, Vice President of Content & Production at FaZe Clan. In the middle of the leaked calendar plans, is a clear sign of âRocket League Announcement Videoâ. As the leak suggests, the video announcement shouldâve released on the 25th of February. However, with this information being leaked, the announcement as well as the video mightâve gotten a slight delay.
As rumoured in a previous report, the lineup that FaZe will be picking up is the Jamal Jabary squad. The team consists of the following members:
Players:
- Eli “Toastie” Nichols
- Logan “Lj.” Wilt
- Trentin “Kraziks” Wade
Substitute:
- Noah “desi”
Coach
- Kais “Sadjunior” Zehri
Why is this big news?
If youâve familiarized yourself with the esports industry, youâll come to realize that FaZe Clan is one of, if not the biggest esports and gaming organization in the world. FaZe Clan kicked off as a viral sniping team and has developed into this dominant team. To be fully truthful, they havenât had their best moments recently, with the CS:GO team going through a complete rehaul, and their VALORANT roster barely keeping up with the top 10 North American teams.Â
Delay or not, rumour or not, this is still huge news for the Rocket League community and we canât wait to see how it all plays out.
