FaZe Clan have just announced that they are signing up and coming player Cented for their Fortnite division. Here is their announcement video:
FaZe signing Cented for Fortnite – Who is he?
19-year-old Evan “Cented” Barron is an extremely young and talented Fortnite professional player from Canada. He kicked off his career in 2019 under team Polar Ace, and slowly improved enough to impress the guys over at Team Liquid. He spent around 2 years with the Liquid organization, and he’s gotten some hefty wins under his belt.
Here are some of Cented’s best achievements in Fortnite:
- 2nd at the FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 Grand Finals NA EAST – 1st November 2020 – $17,000
- 1st in FNCS Season X Week 5 NA West – 15th September 2019 – $8,000
- 1st at FNCS Season X Week 3 NA West – 1st September 2019 – $8,000
What’s next?
This is FaZe Clan’s first addition in a very long while… April 6th in fact, when Bizzle joined the team. It’s very interesting to see that FaZe are still heavily passionate about Fortnite, and the benefits of being in such an esport.
Cented already made a name for himself in the past under Team Liquid. Now, alongside his new teammates over at FaZe Clan, he’s looking to increase his current esports earnings, along with a couple of trophies from upcoming events.
