Last season ended quite poorly for competitive FIFA Esports. Indeed, with the cancellation of the last two events of the year, no climax was ever reached. However, EA hope to change things this ucpoming season. Read on as we discuss FIFA Esports 2022 in this episode of Esports Roadmap!
FIFA Esports 2022 – Building Up to the World Cup
Indeed, this year we’re witnessing an expanding programme which is rather exciting.
Supposedly, this coming year will see FIFA climb the ranks. Thanks to FIFA (the football organization), working with EA Games, the esport is now open to over 70 countries.
Competitions will range from 1v1 to 2v2 matches, with representation ranging from individuals, esports organizations, clubs and even nationalities.
Accordingly, the following are the three programmes to look out for:
- FIFAe Club Series 2022
- FIFAe Nations Series 2022
- EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series – builing up to the FIFAe World Cup 2022
As qualifications have already begun, FIFA also looks to benefit from a tonne of third party events, partnering with football leagues across the world.
Let’s hope that nothing gets cancelled this year and FIFA gets to progress as we expect it to.
