According to Rocket League Esports news source Shift, Firstkiller is joining G2 Esports as part of their Rocket League division. Here’s everything you need to know:
Firstkiller reportedly joining G2 Esports – Who is he?
Jason “Firstkiller” Corral is a 16-year-old Rocket League player from the United States. He started his esports career in 2017 with Upper 90 Esports, and made his first move to the Ghost Gaming lineup in 2020. Unfortunately this was only temporary, as 9 days later it was announced that he will be Rogue’s newest addition to their squad. There he paired up with legendary player Kronovi, and Wonder. Unfortunately those 2 players didn’t stay for too long, and now Rogue have got a revamped roster.
Here are some of his best achievements in Rocket League Esports:
- 5th in RLCS X North American Championship – 16th June 2021 – $32,000
- 1st in RLCS X Spring: Verizon 5G Ultra Cup NA Regional Event 1 – 21st March 2021 – $30,000
- 1st at RLCS X North American Regional Winter Event 3 – 31st January 2021 – $30,000
Community Reaction
Obviously the community was amazed that such a move could take place. As it stands, G2 have 2 players in the RLCS X NA top performing players of the season. With this addition, they will have 3 of the top 4, which goes without saying that this squad is going to be legendary.
