The competitive Fortnite scene continues to support massively online and open events for the community. Accordingly, the recent FNCS Grand Finals were a massive success. Specifically, Chapter 2 Season 5 concluded with crowning several regional champions. Here at esportsguide, we’ve listed them all in one article!
FNCS Grand Finals – Naming the Victors
We’ll be going by region and presenting the podium finishing teams of three:
- Europe: 1st (Hen, Jannisz, Chapix)
- NA East: 1st (Slackes, Acorn, Jahq)
- NA West: 1st (Arkhram, rehx, EpikWhale)
- Brazil: 1st (Caude, Seeyun, KING)
- Oceania: 1st (Muz, looter, SpeedyND)
- Middle East: 1st (KuKi, Phantom, Nyle)
According to my calculation, over $2,800,000 were up for grabs over these past few days for Fortnite! That’s simply astonishing. Beyond the prize and the incredible level of competition, the viewership seemed to impress too, with statistics yet to be released.
So what’s next for competitive Fortnite?
Well, the community is either expecting an additional Season for Chapter 2 or potentially, a whole new Season to enjoy. And who knows? Perhaps this is all building up to a potential Fortnite World Cup this year, though Epic Games are wisely holding back with regards to making any promises like last year.
Regardless, these named victors, in desperate need of team names, will look forward to maintaining this newfound momentum.
