FPX have just announced that they are signing Beichuan as their Jungler replacement. Here is their announcement:
FPX signing Beichuan as Jungler – Who is he?
Yang “Beichuan” Ling is a chinese League of Legends professional player, who started his career with FPX’s Academy squad. He joined the FPX Blaze squad in January of 2021, and due to his recent performance, FPX management saw him fit to play for the main team in the LPL. This is obviously a great opportunity for him to show his abilities, and kick start his professional career in the best way possible.
Why?
With the recent benching of their former jungler Bo, FunPlus Phoenix were in a tough position. Their only option was to bring back Tian to the squad, and sign a new replacement jungler, so that Tian can continue with his temporary break.
This is certainly a challenging period for FunPlus Phoenix, but if they manage to make this work, they will be commended greatly. FPX are currently sitting at 2nd place in the LPL, with a score of 7 wins and 2 losses. Can this change impact them positively? And will it be enough to keep the team at the top?
