World Series 2021 Singapore Viewership – Hitting 5,000,000!
It’s simply without question that Garena Free Fire is a Tier 1 esports in its own right. Specifically, after this event, I’m not sure whether any other event I can recall surpasses these figures. However, prior to jumping the gun, let’s first discuss the previous iteration of the event. Back in 2019, held in Rio, the following numbers were achieved:
- Peak Viewers: 2,016,157
- Average Viewers: 1,280,050
- Air Time: 6 hours
Here at esportsguide, we usually don’t include the ‘air time’, but for this event it’s special. Indeed, such numbers were achieved in only 6 hours. Moving to the 2021 iteration, the offline event in Singapore just earned some worldwide record making numbers:
- Peak Viewers: 5,414,953
- Average Viewers: 2,087,307
- Air Time: 9 hours
Indeed, this is the highest peak viewership recorded at an esports event. Here at esportsguide, we’re proud to have invested ourselves in the title since its early beginnings. We’re excited to see how the esport progresses as time goes by.
As always, we’d like to thank Esports Charts for making such information publically available.
