Unfortunately, due to certain health measures, one of the biggest events of the year is having to change. Specifically, the Free Fire World Series Singapore Finals has had to undergo such changes. Accordingly, we’ll be providing you some insight over how everything has been affected.
Free Fire World Series Singapore Finals – Moved to May 30th
So what’s changed? Let’s dive into some quick facts:
- Play-In Stage – will not change and will still take place on May 22nd
- Grand Finals – specifically, these have been moved from May 27th up to May 30th.
Why was this done? According to Garena, this was all done to make sure that the players are safe. For example, so far four teams have been counted out due to to health situations. It’s clear that regardless of what’s going to happen, the event will go ahead with the $2 million prize pool.
Yet, Garena will still be giving some of those teams that were cancelled out some prize pool anyway – a nice move from the organizers.
As a reminder, 9 teams will compete in the Play-Ins. Here, they’ll earn three spots and join the remaining competitors at the Grand Final. This change isn’t holding this event back.
