You would think that placing second twice in your regional would be enough. However, FunPlus Phoenix are aiming higher and beyond the LPL. Accordingly, they continue to make massive changes and now, they’ve let go of another player. Read on as we provide an update on the FunPlus Phoenix LoL Roster!
FunPlus Phoenix LoL Roster – Only One Player Left
The most recent update involves the organization letting go of Liu “Crisp” Qing-Song as the former Support player. Indeed, that now leaves only Lin “Lwx” Wei-Xiang on the active roster as the Bottom Laner.
So, where does this roster go from here?
We’re not very sure, however the idea of recruiting players from the academy team is very likely. Indeed, FunPlus Phoenix Blaze is currently fielding 4 players. The community is suspecting the promotion of these 4 players to fill up the roster of the franchise team.
Regardless, the new team will look to improve on the former results:
- 14-16th @ 2021 World Championship
- 2nd @ LPL Summer 2021
- 2nd @ LPL Spring 2021
As a staple team of the LPL, we can’t wait to see what FunPlus Phoenix brings to the table with the rise of LPL internationally.
