Earlier thie year and also last year, FunPlus Phoenix were one of the top European VALORANT rosters in the world. However, they’ve fallen since and have been struggling. Accordingly, it’s no surprise that we have news regarding the FunPlus Phoenix VALORANT roster below!
FunPlus Phoenix VALORANT Roster – Gunning for EMEA
The team has been going through a small whirlwind of changes since August. Accordingly, the likes of menegh, peca and ShadoW have all departed. Now, we have the following roster to look forward to competing:
- Kirill “ANGE1″ Karasiow
- Andrey “Shao” Kiprsky
- Pontus “Zyppan” Eek
- Dmitry “SUYGETSU” Ilyushin
- Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks
A lot of work needs to be put in, and that’s quite clear when looking at their most recent performances:
- 9-12th @ Red Bull Home Ground #2
- 9-12th @ VCT 2021 EMEA Stage 3 Challengers
- 4th @ VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1
As you can imagine, such a change comes after the immense disappointment of not making it to VALORANT Champions. That’s why they’ve brought in “ardiis” from the likes of Team Heretics.
