G2 Esports adding Jelty to Fortnite roster – Who is Jelty?
Jelty is a Mexican professional Fortnite player, which has recently popped up on everyone’s radar. He is considered as the biggest and best Mexican Fortnite player, and he proved this after placing 2nd in the North American West DreamHack Open of December. He has previously played for Timber Esports and Centric Gaming, and it is without question that he has had an excellent 2020.
Here are some of Jelty’s achievements:
- 3rd place at Fortnite World Cup Finals Celebrity Pro-Am – 26th July 2019 – $250,000
- 2nd place at DreamHack Open December NA-West – 17th December 2020 – $2,000
- 17th in the FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 Grand Finals – 1st November 2020 – $4,800
- 3rd at FNCS Chapter 2 Season 2 – Week 2: NA West – 29th March 2020 – $1,500
In the past few months, we have seen G2 esports expanding into North American Fortnite. They first started with Coop, signing him back in October, and recently announced Jahq in December. With all 3 now confirmed to represent G2 in future Fortnite events, who’s to say they’re not capable of winning a couple of events off the bat?
