Indeed, it’s been a hard fall for G2 Esports CS:GO roster. Accordingly, ever since their second place finish at IEM XVI Katowice, they’ve continued to fail to win internationally. Bearing this in mind, we’re not surprised by the recent announcement concerning the roster.
G2 Esports CS:GO Roster 2022 – Moving Forward
Specifically, the organization is parting ways with Audric “JACKZ” Jug. Having been a pillar to this roster ever since 2018, he’s been a part of many top 3 placings internationally.
However, the one thing this team has struggled with since 2019, is placing first and not second. Consistently finishing second doesn’t seem to be good enough for G2.
Anyways, the following active roster is currently playing for G2:
- Nemanja “huNter-” Kovac
- Nikola “NiKo” Kovac
- Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov
- Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
- Remy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam – Coach
Considering the fact that CS:GO rostermania is ongoing, the organization has a great chance of finding a fitting replacement.
Notably, the likes of Kenny “kennyS” Schrub sits on the bench – perhaps he gets a shot on the roster?
Regardless of who is signed, they’ll be looking to improve over their past achievements:
- 9-12th @ Intel Extreme Masters XVII Cologne
- 3-4th @ BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022
- 5-6th @ IEM XVII Dallas
- 9-11th @ PGL Major Antwerp 2022
- 2nd @ IEM XVI Katowice
