Over the past month, G2 Esports has clearly been experimenting with their new roster for VALORANT. Moving around old pieces with new faces, they’re clearly trying to find the perfect fit. Indeed, that brings us to the newest piece of news behind the G2 Esports VALORANT Roster below!
G2 Esports VALORANT Roster – Swapped with keloqz
Specifically, former CS:GO competitor and champion Oscar “mixwell” Colocho has been benched. In his stead, the likes of Wassim “keloqz” Cista has been moved from the bench to the active roster.
This move comes as a surprise following their win at the recent Qualifier, but perhaps they’re trying something out. Here is the roster for now below:
- Zygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas
- Auni “AvovA” Chahade
- Wassim “keloqz” Cista
- Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas
- Johan “Meddo” Lundborg
After not making it to VCT Champions last year, G2 Esports is doing everything it can to improve on their record:
- 1st @ VCT 2022 EU Stage 1 Challengers Closed Qualifier 2
- 1st-4th @ VCT 2022 Europe Stage 1 Challengers Open Qualifier 2
- 7-8th @ VCT 2022 Europe Stage 1 Challengers – Closed Qualifier 1
- 3rd @ VCT 2021 EMEA Last Chance Qualifier
Let’s see if they can contest some of the European giants.
