It has been made public that Danish CS:GO star Gla1ve is re-signing with Astralis till 2024! Here is the announcement:
Gla1ve re-signing with Astralis till 2024 – Origins
The 26-year-old Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander first joined Astralis back in 2016. With them he’s won 4 Majors, having 3 of them in a row. In the middle of 2020, Gla1ve stepped down from the lineup to take a mental reset from competitive CS:GO. He then returned stronger than ever in September of that same year.
Dev1ce’s swap
With one of the core players from the team, Dev1ce, departing a few months back, a lot were doubting the team’s abilities. Could they still be one of the top teams in the world? Do they have what it takes to seal another Major victory under their belt? So far they’ve shown that they’re not backing out just yet, and are still working harder than ever to stay on top.
This is what Gla1ve said about his future with Astralis:
“I am Astralis by heart and no matter how I look at it I feel home here. It’s an organization that always strives to develop the game and the players – and it’s ingrained in everyone that we compete to win the biggest titles.”

Gla1ve’s stay, including with the other members of the roster, was put into question due to the contract lengths. As it stands for the other members within the team, including coach Zonic, their contracts expire at the end of 2021. As previously reported, Zonic is still questioning his future with the Danish organisation, however, we’ll be sure to get a definite reply from him soon.
