Guild Esports have just announced that they are signing TaySon as one of their new additions for their Fortnite squad. Here is the announcement video:
Guild Esports signing TaySon for Fortnite – Who is he?
16-year-old Tai “TaySon” Starčič is a slovenian pro Fortnite player who has gotten some traction in recent times. He started his professional career in March of 2020, under team Eleven Gaming. After winning FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 Grand Finals, he announced his free agency in search of a better home.
The Slovenian currently has an approximate total of $217,090 in esports earnings, and is certainly interested in increasing that number with Guild Esports.
Here are some of his best results in 2020:
- 1st in FNCS Chapter 2 Season 3 Grand Finals – 16th August 2020 – $80,000
- 5th in FNCS Chapter 2 Season 2 Grand Finals – 24th May 2020 – $50,000
- 1st at FNCS Chapter 2 Season 4 Grand Finals – 1st November 2020 – $37,000
Guild’s director of esports Grant Rousseau said the following:

Signing TaySon shows that we have no plans to slow down in 2021 – we’re ready to take things to another level and cement our position as the Fortnite team to beat. Tayson will be joining the three other additions to the Guild Esports Fortnite roster with hopes of getting more titles and recognition for Guild.
