With multiple esports concluding the season in summer, Hearthstone esports looks towards December to celebrate the post-season. Accordingly, the Hearthstone World Championship 2022 is on the horizon. Read on as we discuss Blizzard’s earliest announcements!
Hearthstone World Championship 2022 – Early Days

- Venue: Online – Broadcasted on YouTube
- Participants: Sixteen competitors
- Prize: $500,000
Accordingly, the participants will hail from three places:
- Four – Grandmasters
- Four – Chinese Gold Series
- Eight – Masters Tour
Moreso, the format will feature a dual tournament format in a group stage leading up to a single elimination bracket. Overall, all matches will feature a best-of-five conquest format with a ban.
Our thoughts? Well, should this event be held online it would be rather disappointing. This is especially so when all other esports are hosting offline events.
