Heading into the 14th season of competitive season of Arena of Glory, things are spicing up. Accordingly, as the top professional league of Arena of Valor for Vietnam, the competition is returning in the coming weeks. Read on to learn How to Watch the Arena of Glory Spring 2023 below!
Event Background
So, to reiterate, the Arena of Glory is the competitive framework for Arena of Valor esports in Vietnam, as hosted by Garena.
This year will see a 14th season of competition taking place, starting with the AoG Spring 2023 event. Taking place offline in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the event will run from 16th February to 14th June.
Heading into this event, there’ll be a prize pool of $256,069 on the line for the competing teams below:
- Saigon Phantom
- V Gaming
- Box Gaming
- TDT Esports
- Team Flash
- HEAVY
- MDH Esports
- HQ Esports
- B2F Gaming
- Extreme Gaming
Bearing this in mind, also note that up for grabs, the top 8 will be granted spots in the Winter 2023 event, while the bottom two will be sent to the Relegation Playoffs.
Format
Moreover, this event will involve multiple stages of competition. S
Starting with the Group Stage, this portion of the competition will run from 16th February to 29th April. Here, all the competiting teams will fight in one group in a double round robin. Moreover, each team will face one another twice, in BO5 matches.
At this stage, each game win grants 1 point. Seeding into the Playoffs will feature the following means of progressing:
- Top 4 – advanced to the Playoffs
- Bottom 2 – relegated to the Relegation Playoffs
Only the top 8 will progress to the Playoffs. Taking place from April 30th to May 14th, a double elimination bracket will decide the competition. All matches will be BO7. For those unaware, a double elimination bracket implies that teams in the Upper Bracket can afford one loss and be sent to the Lower Bracket – an additional loss here means elimination.

With regards to the predictions, themsot reliable results are those from the result AoG Winter 2022 event last year, here’s how the competition stacked up back then:

Do note that beyond the regional competition, the best in Vietnam were invited to the $1,000,000 AoV Premier League last year. Accordingly, this involved Saigon Phantom placing 2nd, while V Gaming placed 5-6th.
Moreover, these two teams especially will be going head to head to try and establish regional competition. However, since last year, the game has changed and these teams have made roster changes to try and better themselves.
